National Institute of Education selects Anacle Simplicity® Business Software Enterprise Asset Management solutions

SINGAPORE – June, 2013 – The National Institute of Education (NIE) has awarded Anacle to deploy a centralized Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System to facilitate the management of IT assets and equipment within its organization.

Established in July 1991, NIE is an autonomous institute of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. The institute is the sole teacher education institute for teachers in Singapore. NIE provides all levels of teacher education, ranging from initial teacher preparation, to graduate and in-service programmes, and courses for serving teachers, department heads, vice-principals and principals. Its enrolment stands at more than 5,600 full-time equivalent students.

Anacle proprietary Simplicity® Business Software EAM solutions will manage NIE’s IT assets and equipment by tracking the ownership and the movement of the respective asset. The scope of the award also includes a deployment of a fully integrated radio-frequency identification (RFID) and barcode solution with linkage to a mobile solution to manage NIE’s assets and equipment more efficiently.
