MOH Holdings selects Anacle Simplicity® Business Software Enterprise Asset Management System Solution.

SINGAPORE – Nov, 2013 – MOH Holdings (previously known as Health Corporation of Singapore) has awarded Anacle to deploy its proprietary Simplicity® Business Software Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Solution for all public health care institutions in Singapore.

MOHH address systems-level gaps in Singapore public healthcare system. It provides systems-level strategizing and coordination and facilitates collaboration across clusters/healthcare institutions to enhances overall public healthcare system performance in the nation. The healthcare institutions within MOHH are divided into six broad clusters. They include National University Health System, National Healthcare Group, Singapore Health Services, Alexandra Health System, Jurong Health Services, and Eastern Health Alliance. Other subsidiaries include:

  • Integrated Health Information Systems (IHIS), the consolidated entity of IT resources of the different restructured healthcare entities;
  • Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), an independent corporate entity that was formed to look into the enhancement and integration of Singapore’s long-term care sector;
  • Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI), the research entity that will take on the role of supporting translational research in Singapore; and
  • Health and Medical Practice Insurance (HMPI), a captive insurance entity that was formed to self-insure MOHH and its subsidiaries against medical malpractice claims.

MOHH also seeks to leverage on synergies and economies of scale across the entire healthcare spectrum. Anacle Simplicity® EAM will facilitate effective management of the various institutions daily maintenance and operation activities as well as the cost management of its various resource facilities. When implemented, the integrated system will significantly improve the cost and operational efficiency of the public healthcare sector in the long run.
