Singapore, May 2018－Anacle Systems Limited (“Anacle”) wins the Smart Office Living Lab (“SOLL”) contract from the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (“GovTech”). SOLL is the first of its kind, an initiative under the Smart Nation digital plan to provide a real operating environment where new smart systems can be implemented and evaluated continuously.
Anacle will spearhead the project in transforming one of GovTech offices into a smart office, building a platform which seamlessly integrate systems of new devices and sensors with pre-existing network of systems. This seamless integration is key to building a Smart Office, or any smart environment as it allows for scalability and interoperability where new technologies can be inter-networked with pre-existing systems.
Partnering with various industry partners, an automated smart office with robots will soon become a reality. Automated guided vehicles (“AGVs”) will greet and guide visitors to the meeting rooms. Highly intelligent energy management system actively monitors and ensures optimal working condition of equipment and energy consumption efficiency. Smart sensors implemented across the office automates lighting and blind systems to create comfortable working environment, improving workforce productivity.
In line with the Smart Nation initiative to drive digital transformation of government, SOLL will be a testbed for new technologies, with the eventual aim of becoming the blueprint for Smart Offices for the government. The solutions may be adapted for Smart Schools and Smart Homes applications as well. Selected solutions under SOLL have to be scalable and future proof, allowing new devices to integrate seamlessly with the existing system.
