SINGAPORE – February 2018 – Anacle Systems Limited (“Anacle”) has been selected by Jewel Changi Airport to digitalize its utility infrastructure. Jewel Changi Airport is the newest extension and will be a new lifestyle destination spread over 3.5ha.

Anacle will roll out an integrated end-to-end platform which will automate the management of the ten-storey facility’s infrastructure and equipment. The platform will provide Jewel key and real-time insights into utility consumption while significantly streamlining the operational process. The utility management system includes automated billing capabilities which will remove the tedious and manual process of meter readings, verification and bill generation. This will free up valuable time for staff to focus on more vital tasks and strategic priorities.

Jewel Changi Airport is expected to improve the throughput of the arrival hall and baggage handling area of Changi Airport Terminal One by 70%. The much anticipated complex will house an array of gardens and attractions, a hotel, aviation facilities and 300 retail and dining facilities. As part of the world’s busiest and most awarded airport, which welcomed over 60 million tourists last year, a reliable digital solution will ensure the optimal performance of the complex and manage the utility consumption of tenants.

“With the announcement of the carbon taxes at the recent Budget 2018 and the Digital Economy Initiatives announced last year, a single IT system is no longer an option.  Instead a fully integrated solution platform underpinning the multiple needs of the various business operations that involves building management, energy management and financial billing systems is required moving forward.” said Alex Lau, CEO of Anacle.
